About Me

Thank you for visiting my Blog about interesting restaurants of America!

I'm Elizabeth Taylor. I am a Native American who loves to travel and eat. So I created this blog to share interesting places to eat in America. On this site you will be able to find descriptions of restaurants that I find interesting and appealing. This blog will be updated, as I love to visit interesting places and will be sure to share with you.

I first flew to the Netherlands in November 2013. My uncle had been living there for 12 years, so he invited me to visit him for two weeks in the town of Arnhem. I talked a lot with foreigners, including the Dutch, so the decision to go came immediately, and I bought tickets.

The country struck me to the core, I fell in love with it at first sight. The "gingerbread" houses, clean streets, tranquility and colorful trains-all this evoked only the most positive emotions. I met my Dutch friends, we went to Amsterdam, to Utrecht, had a lot of fun. In my blog I will talk about restaurants in the Netherlands with American food, interesting restaurants and peculiarities of life in Holland.

In Europe, all countries are close to each other, so it is very convenient to travel from the Netherlands. To Germany by car takes an hour or two, to Belgium the same, to Luxembourg four hours. You can go to Denmark, France, we even went to Spain. The roads are of excellent quality, so travel will only be a pleasure.

If you have any questions, you can ask: elizabeth@hetheerenhuis.com, I am happy to answer you!

Traveling inspires me. I love being in new places. First I want to travel around America, and then I want to travel all over the world.
I really like the Netherlands. It’s as if the streets have been shampooed and the fields have been combed. I’ve traveled a lot in the Netherlands and I’d love to share my observations with you.
